Know your options
Should I Use Insurance or Pay Cash?
Depending on the repair cost and your deductible, filing an insurance claim may or may not be the best option. Coverage varies by carrier and policy — we’ll show you both paths before you decide.
Repair costs less than your deductible
If your deductible is $500 and the repair costs less than that, paying cash may be simpler — a claim wouldn’t pay out below your deductible anyway.
Replacement exceeds your deductible
If the replacement cost substantially exceeds your deductible, using comprehensive coverage may make more sense — you’d typically pay only the deductible on an approved claim.

Commonly Covered Auto Glass
Comprehensive coverage often applies to these services. What’s actually covered — and your deductible — is determined by your policy.
Does Insurance Cover ADAS Recalibration?
Many newer vehicles have cameras and driver-assistance sensors associated with the windshield. When the windshield is replaced, recalibration may be required depending on the vehicle — it’s part of completing the job safely.
When a glass claim is approved, recalibration is commonly included as part of the replacement — but coverage varies by insurance policy. We confirm whether your vehicle needs it and show it in your estimate either way.
